When you enter a pet store, you see all sizes of fish, but one variety particularly gets your attention. The fish you are observing is a betta! It has long, flowing fins, is vividly colored, and appears to be staring directly at you. Its fins and tail flicker as you approach, giving the impression that it is more significant than it is.
